So this is the new album that's built on the grime of my 2016. The title comes from the Nas joint with Pete Rock, The World is Yours. You know it, "I need a new nigga for this dark cloud to follow. 'Cause while it's over me it's too dark to see tomorrow." I took losses that will be superficial in the long run but that quote does describe the past year. This album allows me to vent and against the dumb shit, scary hours, miscalculations, and bad judgement that I've crossed paths with, to different degrees of success. Some of the venting you'll hear has joy in it somewhere, it's not all violence. Nod your head and/or dance to my pain.
